Helle joined North London Neuro Physio as a partner in April 2013.
Helle qualified with a BSc (1st class Hons) from King’s College London in 1998. She has specialised in neurological physiotherapy since 2000 working as a senior neuro physiotherapist at the Homerton Hospital and King’s College Hospital. In 2006 she took up the role of clinical lead physiotherapist in the neuro rehabilitation team in Southwark, providing community services to the local acute trusts of King’s College and Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospitals.
Helle completed her MSc in Physiotherapy (with distinction) at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, in 2011. She has a special interest in vestibular rehabilitation and physical activity and exercise participation for people with neurological conditions. In Southwark she was responsible for the management and sustainability of an innovative physio-led gym exercise group “Physio Pulse”, run in collaboration with Southwark Council in a local leisure centre.
Helle was a committee member of the London Region of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Neurology (ACPIN) for several years until 2018, having been chairman from 2012 to 2016.
